Birthday Packages
We created these birthday packages with FUN in mind! We have all the supplies you need and will even clean up the mess afterwards! So experience a one-of-a-kind art birthday party for someone you love (yes, that includes yourself). All parties include the space/table rental fee, one of the themes below, and incredible art projects based on your chosen theme (all your guests can bring home!). Our birthday parties cater to ages two years and up. All birthday parties include our clay, multimedia drawing, beading, spin art tables, and sensory play area.
Bring your food, cake and gift bags. We will provide 1 table to put your food and snacks on. You may arrive 30 minutes before your birthday party to greet your guests and get comfortable. You must provide your plates, cups, cutlery, etc. (and don’t forget a knife to cut your cake and bring a lighter for candles!)
All birthday parties were designed for 10 participants and will last 2 hours. The first hour is for fun art and projects, and the second is for food, gifts, and cake!
Have more than 10 participants? Additional participants are $20 per person.

CHOOSE YOUR THEME
ART PLAY
Recommended for Ages 2 - 6 years | Adult Supervision Required
For this theme, the party is all about process art play! We will have open-ended activities for the children to dive into when they enter the door. We will have two featured activities, clay sculpting, open-ended painting on a stretched 8" x 8" canvas in our splatter room, a school readiness multimedia table, a beading table, salad spinner art to make, and sensory play area.
There is no formal instruction for this birthday party; staff guides and encourages creativity so each child can freely explore all the stations at their interest and pace. These activities will be available for the first hour of the party; the remainder of the party is for food, cake, and opening gifts.
TIE-DYE + SPLATTER
Recommended for Ages 7+ | Adult Supervision Required
Tie-dye is an old-school good time! So keep the mess out of your house, and let’s have a tie-dye party at The Art Lab. Everyone gets a T-shirt. Here is what typically happens at a Tie-Dye Birthday :
As everyone arrives, we have tie-dye paint spinner art to keep us busy while guests arrive. Then, when everyone is there, we start Tie Dye!! We provide one t-shirt per participant and offer various sizes, and everyone will bring their t-shirt home with care instructions.
Everyone will create their own 8” x 8” splatter canvas in our splatter paint room with brushes, fly swatters, and plungers. These supplies give the paintings some great texture, which is seriously awesome and fun too!
Participants receive a premium stretched 8” x 8” canvas.
You guys pack up your things, and we will clean up the mess so you can continue celebrating your day!
SLIME + SPLATTER
Recommended for Ages 6+ | Adult Supervision Required
It’s Slime Time! This party is a gooey fun mess!
Everyone will create their own 8” x 8” splatter canvas in our splatter paint room with brushes, fly swatters, and plungers. These supplies give the paintings some great texture, which is seriously awesome and fun too!
Participants receive a premium stretched 8” x 8” canvas.
The best part is decorating, colouring, and playing with our slime! We will be blowing bubbles with our slime, mashing it, making fart noises, and stretching it as far as we can! Then we usually have enough time to splatter paint before having food, cake, and gifts. So you guys pack up your things, and we will clean up the mess so you can continue celebrating your day!
GALAXY PARTY
Recommended for ages 5 +

We are calling all astronauts! Looking for a party that is out of this world?! Come and learn how to make a fantastic galaxy painting for your room! Participants will create a mesmerizing artwork using powdered, acrylic, and tempera paints. We will also make a galaxy necklace and excellent oven bake clay aliens.
POUR PAINTING + SPLATTER
Recommended for ages 6+
Unpredictable yet incredibly beautiful when finished, mesmerizing and therapeutic to try. Come and enjoy this experience at The Art Lab, where you can try this technique without worrying about the mess, the stress and the supplies.
You will walk away with the following:
Two (2) beautiful 8” x 8” canvases (one pour painting and one splatter painting) *Please note there may be a 1-day drying time, so you may have to pick up your canvases on another day if it does not dry in time.
FAIRY GARDEN PARTY
Recommended for ages 6+
Why don’t fairies live under toadstools? Because there’s not mushroom! Anyways... :)
Join us for a special Fairy Garden party! We will create our own Fairy Garden scene display, fairy glitter necklaces, and a magical fairy wand.
Rates
All parties are a flat rate of $399.99 + HST
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required.
If you need to cancel your party, we do require 14 days notice. The deposit will be refunded minus a $50 fee.
Cancellations with less than 14 days notice are not eligible for a refund. However, you can reschedule your party for a later date. *Rescheduled parties cannot be cancelled.
